Background

 

My first set of dreadlocks were made with the help of a friend back in the summer of 2008.  I had always had a love of dreadlocks, and taking the plunge was just the first step into what would someday become my current career. I was given a lot of bad information from friends and online forums, and had no idea what the 'right way' was to look after my dreadlocks. Through trial and error (and a few sets of dreadlocks), I slowly began to build a mental library of unbiased, dreadlock knowledge. Several years later, after completing a year of college I decided to offer my skills to the London area to make some extra income throughout the summer of 2011. That summer went so well that I continued to offer dreadlocks alongside working other jobs. The following February, I began offering human hair dreadlock extensions and this is when Lunar Dreadlocks began to really take shape. I opened up my online Etsy shop to sell my extensions, and was soon able to quit my other part time job and create dreadlocks fulltime. I now sell my extensions, and dreadlock accessories world wide, including Australia, United Kingdom, and the U.S. I have had clients drive from Northern Ontario and New York, just for my dreadlock services.
